This small write-up of mine is basically a way to pull-out the frustration which keeps getting accumulated within me, while my way to office from home every morning.
Waking up in the morning I take a bath and clean myself both physically and mentally for a fresh-good-start of the day! Am always at peace when I lock the door of the flat and step-out with my husband for work. But, peace is a very unacceptable state of mind in the part of the world where I stay! The moment I reach Borivali station the rush and the head counts on the platform is sure to make you feel weak from within. I feel like an ant walking with an army of ant, towards a long sugar-coated roll (the train). Along, with this feeling of being miniature, there is another threat that keeps bringing nightmares to me. It’s the missiles that are shot aimlessly by the Beetle boys (read; the beetle and tobacco eaters). The liquefied red-stained spit which is forced out of the mouth can fall anywhere and on anybody. It’s the responsibility of the people to use their flexibility and reflexes (both acquired and in-born). One can even misinterpret themselves to be at the middle of a warfront, where they constantly have to save themselves from the missile launches-unarmed!
Though, this attack helps our mind to become more alert and our reflexes to be more prompt, but, the oppositions aimless throwing also lands sometimes(read: mostly) in such parts of one's body or clothes that keeping one's mind aloof and cool is not possible. The other day, I saw an advertisement of a talcum powder claiming to keep oneself cool, but I can bet the company too, they will fail to keep the calmness prevailing when on a white shirt one notices a conspicuous red spot that would be difficult to remove! The people whose staple diet seems to be the leaves can never stop their attacks till a day comes when we find our whole city-glowing in red! The stains are like symbols kept by the people of that clad- just to keep their presence felt. No new public transport or place or road can say that it does not bear the red. Each one's beauty is beautified by the missiles. The red spray re-colours them to bring out the true hidden beauty of India.
Sometimes, I feel, may be this missile of Pan-stain should be patented and adopted by the Indian Government as a trademark symbol of India. That means, all goods manufactured in India would be considered incomplete without the missile being launched somewhere on it! Then, this can serve as a stamp for our indigenous identity.
At least, in this way, the missiles will be in use and may be frustrated people like us (who keeps complaining about the missile attacks) will finally find a reason to accept it’s attack. If I become a little more hopeful, then I do not find the day faraway, when I will be taking pride to get attacked since it would be our national mark- The red stain!

the stale reality of india and the missileswhere india is selfsufficient, i think the connect works here. Also its "the very unabashed acceptance" which is conspicuously found in every indian which needs to be washed out first ; if you want to wash away those stains; and the choice of detergent depends on you completely.
