BOMB-ay

Date: July, 13 2011.
Time: 6:50
Day: Thursday
Activity: Returning from work: Bored, exhausted, mind in search of ‘adventure’!
Adventure?
No, please I would never again want to experience the kind of adventurous journey I had yesterday. The moment I left office, I called my husband, as usual, but yesterday our conversation took a turn!

A blast! Two blasts! Three blasts in 10 minutes!

Again, a shattering event in Mumbai! There were three consecutive explosions in Dadar: Zaveri bazaar, Opera House and Dadar bus stop.

But, the explosions did not explode the emotions of Mumbaikars any more.
‘Sirf 200 log hi ghayal huye? Utna khaas nahi hai, yaar!’ then “abhi kya karien blast ke vajay se ghar pet toh nahi baith sakte na”….
Do we call it ‘SPIRITS OF MUMBAI’ or is it that we try to hide our compulsions with this feel-good label?
If there had been a true existence of SPIRIT then we all should have awaken today as saviors- not for the country or for the citizens but atleast for our families and friends and protested against such law& order of the city that fails every single time.
There is no SPIRIT left in Mumbaikars, trust me, they just work as machines! They just work to live till they are alive! We live amidst BOMB,
coz it’s BOMB-ay???

The actual weaker sex

Before I start penning down the logical/valid points of why I intend to stereotype the opposite sex as being the actual weaker sex, I would like to take an opportunity to apologize to them, because I too can understand that harsh truths are always difficult to accept without you getting hurt!
The weaker sex normally comes in bigger sizes and shape just to camouflage their real self.
They try showing their superiority over women, the whole day, just like a short, thin, fragile child tries to proclaim am “Taller, Stronger, Sharper” after drinking some branded health drink!
Before you read let me tell you, I shall not advocate the truth, but enlighten you about the truth that is hidden under an illusion just like, so many other things in this world.
The world is an illusion.
We think we are stationary when the earth rotates. We think we are in danger from the wild animals but actually, it is out of scare that wild animals attack. We feel we are having the tallest building but it is actually the tiniest in the universe. We perceive to know all, but 80% of our own brain’s mystery is yet to be discovered. We believe we have experienced everything, but still we believe in some unseen supernatural powers. We claim to have over powered the world but a slight shift in the earth’s axis can ruin our kingdom. We still don’t know the mystery of death and the time life initiates. We claim to have settled our future but always something unexpected keeps happening. We boast of our architectural achievements but the slightest shake of the earth uproots them forever.
The illusion- they are in.
Similarly, they show their superiority on the basis of muscle-mass ratio but when it comes to grey matter the answer stays foggy and grey.
A single drop of tear from our eyes makes them weak!
A smile on our face makes them elated.
They keep searching the best of our species to feel happy (so their main reason to be happy is?)
Our absence from their lives makes them feel incomplete.
We let them enjoy when we take care of their life (as mother, wife, daughter, sister, etc.)
They prefer being a rubber ball bouncing in and out of relationships, but we stand beside them as the pillar of support.
There heart denies growing after childhood; we understand and pamper them as well.
They have a sensitive part called-ego within them which we keep it unhurt.

So, being a woman, we understand that their claim of being stronger is an illusive truth! Scientifically, it is been proven they posses a weaker heart than ours so we prefer keeping the illusion prevailing and let them live happily forever!

IT ALL FAILS

The cloud casts a shadow,
The earth turns dark!
The sun forgets to rise,
And the moon fails to smile.

The stars choose not to shine,
As rivers, lakes and oceans are left dry.

Trees shed their leaves
Birds without nests are left in grief.

Colour vanishes from our land!
Nature looks so bland!

The charisma of all is in your eyes to perceive!
which in times of grief, seems to deceive!
